I hate TikTok but the US government is trying to introduce a more radical version of SOPA as they are trying to sneak a new law in by banning TikTok, please contact your representatives and say you do not support it, I understand everyone is tired of dealing with this but we need to keep fighting for our rights, I am all for banning TikTok but I am tired of these morons in government trying to restrict the internet and spy like they do in China and if this passes then it will eventually come to your country. They are talking about banning VPN's and make those that use them criminals and to both of the major parties we just want you guys to f*ck off, we get it you guys argue like school kids but this is very stupid, stop impeding on the freedoms of the citizens. This isn't a case of national security, they want to try to force more control on you.

Please contact your reps and say you oppose this via your voice, email and physical letters, otherwise the internet we know will cease to exist.

Hello everyone, been a while since I have given an update, mostly because there hasn't been really all that much on my end when it comes to content, but I wanna give a quick update. Plus for the past few days I've just felt exhausted and haven't been feeling well and I am trying to get back into it, I did finally get my hands on Armored Core 6 and that's been helping me out as I recover and having a blast.

Now my plan is that I am gonna go back and revise the parts I currently have up for the Magna-Verse(as in the core parts), I have already revised Crusader Part 1 to both take care of a major plot hole in the story and also to update it to a more modern standard and I'll continue to work on the following parts, I won't reboot or start from the ground up, I just wanna see what I can improve upon.

Speaking of fiction, I am gonna be upfront and say that at this time I am not interested in doing more fanfiction right now, so the only line of fiction I am going to work on is my Magna-Verse line. Mostly because I would rather work on that and because I wanna get the Magna-Verse lore more to where I like it as I have a few things on hold until the Twilight-line is done. I apologize in advance for those waiting for the next parts of Stars Reignition, Cluster and Protocol, but I am gonna put a higher priority on the Magna-Verse.

I am not gonna go as hard with the writing as it is now secondary basically, but I do miss it a little, so I am gonna slowly try to get back into a groove with it, but please understand that it is gonna be a slow process. As I wanna revise the parts of the Magna-Verse(from Crusader to Amatory) and bring them to FA, the Twilight-line I think I'll keep off FA and just have it on DA and SF.

(Disclaimer, I am gonna start ranting while also trying to be constructive and trying to also blow off some steam... okay there was the fair warning)

Here comes the fun part, because I am tired of the dead comment section and by extension the silent watcher curses that I have been expirencing for years(both on DA and SF), I am asking for at least a little more interactivity, at least from those that do watch me, I do appreciate the favs along with the few votes, but overall I am just tired of the sheer dead air and I feel there is a lack of interest dispite the view count and it'll never cease to amaze me that something can get hundreds to in some cases thousands of views but gets basically dead air in all aspects. Between DA and SF I have around 360 watchers but from the data and statistics I have collected only around 10-15 really interact with anything I do in any shape or form.

Just the sheer feeling of the lack of interest really just kills any morale and it really does suck and people won't fav or comment on anything but they have no problem sending me notes and other pm's wondering if characters are gonna bonk or not along with other things like their fav character not showing up(as far as fanfiction is concerned). And at the end of the day I am just so tired of it, if I have your attention and interest please show it at least a little bit, don't take the word "watcher" literally and just sit around, at least fav if you like something, not all the time but at least it is something to show me that what I am making has your attention.

But one thing I can confidentially say is this, now I am gonna be firing some shots here just in general so please don't take it too personally. Now I understand when it comes to art in general I really don't mind if people solely focus on that and it's NSFW, I mean I love looking at it as you can tell from my favs, where it really does grip me however is when it comes to fiction and when it comes to SF and to FA most of the writing is just terribly written nsfw content that really has no substance, some try to by suddenly thrusting magical bs or things like that but at the end of the day it is just so shallow and despite how shoddy it is people actually commission some users for it and I don't understand why to an extent because it is the same crap over and over again with little to no thought process behind it.

Sex should really only be part of a story or part of an overall story-line, very rarely do I find a line of fiction where it is the main driving force and it's a good read and that's why erotica is generally these one shot affairs, some good and some bad. Without going into too much detail there was a line of fiction on SF I was into(I won't give the name of the fiction or the name of the user for my sake, even though I think it's same user who constantly gave me 1 stars) and it started off strong but by about the mid point that's when I checked out as out of no where there was this weird cheating bs caused by magic that was forced in and it felt very awkward, I finished reading it by quickly skimming through it and haven''t looked at it since then, fun fact I was thinking of doing a cross over with both it and the Magna-Verse and I am extremely happy that it was shot down because otherwise what I was trying to do would have been watered down in the long run(I was trying to do it as form of showing interest and to drive attention to both me and the other user if you are curious about my reason why). And this was after Crusader concluded and Starlight was in the prototype stages where I had several skeletons and ideas planned for each.

I just find it amazing that the furry fandom is renowned for it's creativity but most users can't seem to write anything with substance, just this erotic shovelware that people read generally once and then toss it basically.

Another thing that I really want clarification on is this and this is a SoFurry issue that I have noticed, where it seems to be a taboo where no one can oppose the users that have been on there for like 10+ years despite most of them having dropped SF a long time ago and use it as a dumping ground when they have like 10+ pieces and flood SF with all of them at once, effectively drowning out anyone else and naturally because they have a ton of watchers no one else has a chance in hell of having anything of theirs shine as they are instantly thrusted to the popular section and dominating two boxes on the front page. Thankfully a good number don't do this and actually give others a chance and are pretty chill.

People can say what they want about DA like how this a.i. art bs has claimed a good chunk of the site to where they should just call it DeviantAi at this point, but at least on DA your stuff has a decent chance of being seen, at least there is a chance of exposer, on SF you have no chance at all at the best of times and when those drops on SF happen and you just uploaded something then may the force be with you because your stuff will be pushed out of the way instantly, the only way around this is to try to get enough watchers to where this is mitigated but with how quickly the front page shuffles at all times to where nothing has any staying power... good freaking luck trying to accomplish this feat.

And I don't wanna hear "The groups help" and to that I say this "That is the biggest lie on SF" because the groups on SF have no function at all, yeah the groups on FA don't have a real function either but at least they are upfront about it to an extent and they are basically window dressing, on SF on the other hand they have no point, you join them and when something gets added to them the group doesn't send any notification that something was added... so what is the point? You may as well just watch the users instead, it depends way too much on the users going to the groups to see what was added and you are giving your users way to much hope on this front, very few users actually go to the groups to see what has been added if any at all, in fact some of these groups are dead if not most of them.

And after sayng all of this, is it really any wonder why your standard new user only lasts a few weeks and then ditches SF? And no SF 2.0 is not the answer and since the people who run SF don't care and are(forgive me for saying this) basically brain dead about it, allow me to offer some solutions and these are so basic that it amazes me that none of this was thought of by the admins.

1. The groups need to send notifications whenever something is submitted to the galleries, this will help give smaller users exposer and will hopefully give some incentive to stick around.

2. The vote system needs to give a notification regardless of what rating was given whether it's the max 5 to the lowest 1 star and by extension maybe make it mandatory to leave a comment when it comes to the voting system.

3. The front page needs to be similar to DA's where it displays a wide verity and quantity all at once, do away with the small boxes that hold a very small number and dedicate bigger sections to the submissions so they hopefully have more staying power.

4. If something gets a ton of views(low hundreds to the thousands) then it needs to go to the popular section by default and not just when it comes to favs and votes being the deciding factor.

5. Also when someone gives a comment a thumbs up, have that send a notification as well.

These are very basic fixes but they will have a huge impact on how the site functions and they will have a very warm and welcome reception, the users that have hundreds to thousands watchers are set, the smaller users need something to help them stick around because as it stands they have zero chance in every aspect and it comes down to blind luck if anyone sees them and SF you need that new blood to stick around!

I have tried to drive conversation forward and get other users talking but it rarely if ever gets any locomotion, the only user that I have heard anything from when it comes to SF and just in general who is willing to actually comment is Aberrant Grey on SoFurry and I agree with a good amount of what he said on my "Update on my FA" journal where SoFurry has been dying and is now effectively dead and I do agree that the admins really don't care about SF anymore(as stated above).

And for that information and interaction I am very grateful and I have talked to a few others through Discord and the answer I get is almost exactly the same in what I have been saying in regards to exposure and stigma's that seem to exist on SF as well as the issues when it comes to DA, I get it everyone likes looking at the flashy stuff but the smaller accounts and creators need to have their moment as well even if they are less skilled as it could help in building up some level of confidence in what they do, I get it a good number if not everyone does what they do for fun, but that exposer and interaction is key in keeping these users around.

*Sighs* Alright, there's my rant and thoughts, I have also debated about putting a rant like this on my FA to an extent as I am experiencing the same issues on there as well, but at least on FA I do get some form of interaction in terms of the comment section and notes plus my account on FA is still pretty new so I am trying to give it some leeway in the aspect.

Look I just hate it when people hit the watch button and it never goes anywhere after that, it didn't bother me all that much if at all at first, but now it's just I want and expect so much more and it doesn't help that I end up having a lot questions when it comes to what I make here and there, I can tell I have gotten better both with how I draw and write but I end up asking myself if I really am good enough given the sheer dead air and it feels like I just mostly have a watchbase and not much of a fanbase and if I do have a fanbase or even just a watchbase then I wish it was actually vocal and active when it comes to my DA, SF and FA and sometimes my morale just gets so low I have to force myself to actually post. This is also why eventually I just stop faving and I have decided to stop the idea of making more video projects which take a lot of time and effort but really don't get any attention plus in a good number of cases I just unwatch a good number of users.

*scoffs* Alright, I have a headache, but I figure if I keep bringing this up sooner or later things will hopefully get better, but it is an uphill battle on my end because it just feels like I am pulling teeth and it genuinely feels like so few actually care about what I create and what I post.

Hello everyone, Magnum here and I am spreading the word to help aid my friend :iconKaage-YaffaKahli: in spreading the word.

Now, I highly recommend that you go check out her journals for the full story but I will do a brief summery on my end of the situation and plus give my own opinion as well.

To summarize where Kaage lives which is the state of South Dakota is refusing to assist her in trying to fix her heating and ac unit, resulting in a very unpleasant living situation where she has had to reside in her bathroom for the past few months and having effectively moved the necessities into that part of her residence to have any sense of comfort.

To add insult to injury on this she's also gonna have to install a shower outdoors given her plumbing situation is worse for ware as well and no one is helping her with this as well.

Kaage does have advocates and support but the company responsible for the hvac is fighting the state as they don't wanna give the needed aid even though it is required in this given situation and the state and ineffective they are in their own litigation isn't helping much either given things like budget limits.

*Sighs* Now, here's where I am gonna toss my own opinion in, now I have seen this kind of thing so many times and I have had my own fair share fighting the system as well and it makes me grit my teeth every time at how crazy it gets over the big and little things.... and this is a huge thing. Her entire living situation has been turned upside down and how this whole ordeal has been handled is nothing short of aggravating and exhausting, not to mention I find it pretty disgusting.

Kaage is a strong woman with a big heart and I think a good show of support would do wonders for her because she really could use it.

Please keep Kaage in your thoughts and I hope she gets all the help she needs, she's been through a lot in the past couple months in trying to tackle this.

Hello everyone, Magnum here, I have my FA set up pretty good I think, I am also going to put exclusive content on my FA just to help bolster it as well.

So far my experience on FA has been pretty good actually and I have been having some pretty good fun on there with some RP's. I have been trying to meet some more users on there but I mostly just get blown off... *sighs* Yeah, what else is new? I did get a little warm welcome though which is nice, I am still trying to get a feel for FA overall as there are a few things that are weird, like how groups aren't a thing and that the tag system relies on character number rather then how many actual keywords you are allotted, but those really are my only real annoyances.

Obviously I haven't made that much of a splash(and truth be told I really wasn't expecting to) when it comes to FA, but what is nice is within the first couple of days I got roped into some RP's within my first week which I ended up enjoying very much... to my surprise as I remember trying it a couple of times and I hated it but now I don't mind it.

The main thing however I am having issue with is trying to send a pm and trying to meet other users, I've been using FA to try to help me deal with some phobia's I have, most notably sending a pm in being the first to reach out and also I have been trying to comment more often. I do like RP's but it's also nice just to have regular conversations too, it just kind of sucks sending a note and never hearing anything back.

What I really like however is that the site doesn't feel freaking dead like how SoFurry does which is a huge plus for me and I haven't encountered any drama which is good and after talking here and there it is unlikely I will get roped into anything. Now on FA there are groups but it is window dressing for the most part and are just more of way to have a profile icon in your bio, at least they aren't trying to be something they aren't like the SoFurry groups where you submit your stuff and no one sees it most of the time. And I also like that FA isn't sketchy when it comes to displaying NSFW unlike DA where they play favorites and do all this paywall bs in relation to NSFW.

I do wish there were groups on FA like the ones on DA and I wish SoFurry had this as well, set up a group, have people join and watch the thing and when anyone adds something to it it notifies everyone in the group or just watching.

But overall I am enjoying FA so far and it's nice to experience something different, I just wanted to give you guys a quick update. Not to mention is is good to have positive notes and actual interaction for a change, as that really did just take a lot of fun out of DA and SF for me as on DA I get basically none of that kind of interaction and very rarely when it comes to SF.

*Sighs* I really didn't want to make this journal, but I feel I have to otherwise I'll get notes and comments wondering why I haven't updated my fiction yet and I figure it is best if everyone knows where I stand.

Now, writing has been my main trade for a long time, so much so that I never worked on drawing or art in general and in that area I stagnated for a while... and I got to be honest I am tired, I am just tired of writing in general. For some perspective, for me to write a 30min part for a story or short story(which is the aim I always go four) it takes me three-to-four days worth of time and that's not me doing anything else, sometimes I get a burst of energy and I can knock it out in a day maybe a day in half or even less, but for the past two months I have had no real motivation to really type any fiction aside from what you'll find in the description when it comes to my submissions.

This is not a new feeling as I went through the samething with a series I had worked on for the longest time and that was my series Journey, which started of as me just messing around and then it turned into a full on 40k/MLP crossover, it's not on SoFurry, it on my DA and for good reason, it would take me days first of all and second I refuse to continue it as I have no desire to go back and work on it and finish it up. The last part of that series was uploaded back on December 27th 2017 and I ended it on a cliffhanger that way if I ever got the motivation to finish this nearly one hundred part series it would be nothing for me to really do so, but I just can't as while the view count is nice, but everything else is basically dead(which is ironic given the sheer number of watchers I gained over that time).

I'm not gonna lie, I think at this point in time my love of writing has basically died, after doing writing for so long and not really having much to show for it, it's best if I at least go on hiatus from it and just focus on drawing for the time being. Because if I don't I am just not sure if I can bring myself to write again and I am very close to just giving it up completely, so it is for the best. Now I have no idea how long this hiatus is going to last, it could be weeks, months or even years, I just don't know.

I was debating about making this or not, but I would rather be honest with everyone and make this, then be dead silent and have people note me, at least with this I can get it off my chest and more importantly address my feelings. I am not gonna go into a rant(constructive or otherwise) as I have done in the past, because no one or close to it listens, so I am putting my foot down and saying enough is enough, I do appreciate the few who have faved and commented on my fiction especially as it did help motivate me, it's just the other people who kill it where people demand I continue a story and then show no interest in even faving it let alone anything else, people wondering why their fav character didn't make an appearance... and sadly just the lack of interest I get just kills it as well.

I know, I know I should just have fun with it and be whatever, but unfortunately I just don't have that mindset anymore at least when it comes to writing, so I am returning to my first love which is drawing. I hope everyone understands where I am coming from, thanks for taking the time to read the journal and have a good one.
